Summary

replace provider- and persona-specific prompt configuration with generic Discord and panel system prompt paths
keep MISTRAL_PROMPT_PATH and PANEL_AI_PROMPT_PATH as temporary compatibility aliases
make Discord and panel fallback prompts deployment-neutral
keep identity and personality inside operator-provided prompt files
add generic prompt templates, migration documentation, and Owner-facing runtime labels

Configuration

DISCORD_AI_SYSTEM_PROMPT_PATH → prompts/system_prompt.txt
PANEL_AI_SYSTEM_PROMPT_PATH → prompts/panel_ai_system_prompt.txt

The Mistral Agent continues using its Studio instructions. The local Discord prompt is used by direct chat completions and the text-only Custom Provider fallback.

Compatibility

Existing deployments using the legacy prompt variables continue to work. The generic variables take precedence when both are configured, including the packaged Docker Compose variants.

Validation

GitHub Actions passed on Node 24: secret scan, lint, type-check, test, and build.
